Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ sounds like ‘Be Happy’ to E-Tribe
Composer for SNSD’s ‘Be Happy’, E-Tribe talked about the issues pertaining to the plagiarism controversy involving Lady Gaga’s new song ‘Born This Way’. Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ was released about a year after SNSD’s ‘Be Happy’, which was part of the girls’ 2nd Album ‘Oh!’. On March 11th, E-Tribe said, “This morning when people around us said there is a news article mentioning Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ plagiarized SNSD’s ‘Be Happy’, we immediately went to check out the song. The atmosphere and feel of the song is rather similar”.
E-Tribe added, “As the song progresses, honestly, the arrangement is also similar. Therefore, currently, we are trying to get more information from representative of Lady Gaga’s domestic publishing company. Just wondering what would be the reaction if Korean artistes’ songs were released later than Lady Gaga’s”.
