SECRET completes debut Japanese showcase

On July 6th, SECRET held their debut Japanese showcase, “SECRET Premium Debut Live in Japan“, at Harajuku’s Laforet Museum.

Out of the 50,000 fans that applied for passes, only 2,000 made it in. But there were thousands who managed to catch them online at the same time through an Ustream feed.

Over 300 different media outlets also joined the crowd, including representative presses like Nihon TV, TBS, Fuji TV, Asahi TV, and Sankei Sports.

SECRET captured the hearts of their fans with a one-hour long showcase featuring Japanese versions of their hit tracks, “Madonna” and “Magic“, and many other stages. The Japanese press praised, “They’re another girl group that has talents and a stand-out charm.”

Representatives of TS Entertainment stated, “As it is a girl group presented by the world famous distribution company, Sony Music, they have revealed their determination in advancing SECRET as an artist worth their image in Japan.”
SECRET will be releasing their debut single, “Madonna”, on August 3rd.
